Great West Equipment - Vernon

Great West Equipment is a full-service heavy equipment dealership with 11 branches across British Columbia and the Yukon with a head office located in Vernon, British Columbia. Our early roots were primarily in the forestry and construction industries, but over the years we have grown to become a major force in all the heavy equipment segments including mining, oil & gas, scrap and recycling, waste management, utilities, ports, and aggregates.

In 2002 Great West was awarded the Volvo Construction Equipment distribution rights for most of British Columbia and over the ensuing 10 years we grew from one location to four to seven to eleven full-service locations covering all British Columbia and the Yukon. Over the years we have also acquired the province wide distribution rights to Madill Forestry Products, Sennebogen Material Handlers, Metso Crushing and Screening Equipment, and TimberPro Forestry Equipment.

At Great West we are continuing our expansion program with new buildings in Vernon and Surrey over the past few years and a new building scheduled to open in Prince George in the fall of 2022. To achieve the level of service our customers have come to expect our Territory Sales Managers, and Service Technicians, all receive ongoing specialized product training from all our OEM partners to keep us at the top of our game. Well trained and well-equipped personnel are available 24/365 to assist our clientele with all their needs.
